The Benefits of Eating Walnuts

Walnuts contain multiple ingredients like Omega-3 fatty acids, antioxidants and phytosterols, that when researched individually, have proven to slow down cancer growth. The antioxidants in walnuts counteract oxidative stress, and the anti-inflammatory properties decrease the risk of chronic inflammation. Chronic oxidative stress and chronic inflammation, when combined, fuel cancer development. Prostate cancer and breast cancer have been found to be greatly reduced by large amounts of walnut consumption.
