0The Benefits of Eating Walnuts
With the advance of September I see more and more colorful trees. But the one tree that is still staying strong, holding on to its fruit is the Walnut. While walnuts are harvested in December, they can be stored for a year-round consumption without decreasing their benefits.
Recent researches on the antioxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits of walnuts have been continually proving in the past years that walnuts are beneficial for our metabolism, heart, diabetes and can even prevent cancer. Some phytonutrients found in walnuts are unique and others are rare and valuable as antioxidants and anti-inflammatory nutrients. The anti-inflammatory and antioxidant phytonutrients are the ones that decrease the risk of prostate cancer and breast cancer.
