This is a cute idea that can be eaten during holiday mealtime or taken home for later. There are several recipes online, but your favorite hot-cross-bun recipe will do. Instead of using a pan or sheet you simply grease up the canning jars and add the dough. You want to make sure it stays under the lid so you may need to try one first to get the size right. However, you could also allow it to explode out of the top and decorate with spices like rosemary and lavender. Remember to add the guest’s name to a tag.
