Protecting Plants from Frost

For some, frost season has arrived while others still have a little planning time to ready their crops. Gardening season may have ended for some of the country, while the rest will enjoy planting and harvesting fall and winter crops so long as they stay protected from frost damage.

Here are five simple ways to protect plants from frost.

1. Lightweight Frost Protection Fabric

This is available under a few brand names and can be purchased at your local home improvement store. The material is lightweight and easy to cut and maneuver around trees, bushes, above ground gardens and even planters. Make sure to get the frost protection and not just the pest protection since both are similar in appearance but one is sturdy enough to keep out the frost.
