While home furnishing stores will have you believe they’ve cornered the market on autumn decorating, Mother Nature has a few tricks up her sleeve. With some eco-craftiness, turn your house into a fall haven just in time for apple-bobbing and ghostly fun. Here are 4 eco-friendly fall decorations that not only are green, but will save you some of that green in your wallet as well.

Harvested Fruits

Fall fruits are naturally bright and glowing almost as if to capture a little of summer’s light for the coming autumn evenings. Apples and pumpkins make wonderfully attractive settings when paired with glowing candles and garden clippings. Growing your own is marvelously convenient, but a trip to he local farmer’s market is a great way to support local growers while stimulating local economies.
