5 Vegan Holiday Pies

The typical holiday fare is buttery and meaty. Unfortunately, too much fat is unhealthy for your body and producing meat releases greenhouse gases (GHG’s) like methane and nitrous oxide. Animal products such as dairy still releases these greenhouse gases. Cut down on the fat and GHG’s this year by incorporating some vegan food into your holiday menu. Some vegan foods use a long list of obscure ingredients, and sure, they taste a little different. But most of the time, with tried and true recipes, you can do without the exotic ingredients, and they end up just as deliciously creamy as their non-vegan counterparts.

This year, try these delectable and simple vegan holiday pies to tantalize your tongue.
