Grounds for Change is Fair Trade, Organic, Shade Grown, and Carbon Free. It is a family owned and operated coffee roasting business located in the Pacific Northwest. Shade Grown Coffee ensures a healthy habitat for migratory birds. Their farmers in Peru and Mexico use their Fair Trade income to help support local domestic violence intervention programs and small business loans for women. They are a sustainable business which uses 100% renewable energy, and offset their CO2 emissions from distribution and other associated operations.
