5. For Yellow Yokes
Supposedly, feeding marigolds to your chickens will cause yellower yokes in their eggs. It’s difficult to truly test this unless you know exactly what your girls are eating. Since most free range chickens are able to roam and enjoy an array of food items, especially bugs, it might be difficult to tell. However, the girls seem to enjoy them so why not let them indulge?
