1An Eco-Friendly Bedroom Enhances Sleep
Most people spend at least one third to a half of their lives in the bedroom, sleeping. So, this is the one room in your home that you should probably focus on, to enhance your well being.
Sleep is the body’s natural method of recharging itself. Necessary for a healthy body, everyone needs to sleep on average between six to eight hours each night. But in our busy lifestyles, getting enough zzz’s is sometimes easier said than done. Sleep can be hampered by stress, inactivity and poor quality foods and negative environments.
John Koshuta, Milwaukee Health Examiner, says that over the long term, sleep deprivation can cause a variety of health problems. According to his blog, a study conducted by researchers at the University of Chicago found that adults who slept fewer hours were more likely to develop or to currently have high blood pressure.
Eco-friendly rooms enhance sleep
Although most people do not associate a good night’s sleep with an eco-friendly environment, there is actually a lot of synergy between the two. Since eco-friendly environments are closely aligned to nature, they actually help to harmonize your sleep patterns for deeper rest and relaxation.
So, it might worth giving your bedroom an eco makeover. Don’t worry, it’s easier than you think. Watch this video to learn more.
