4. Food Decorations
The marigold flowers are edible and make for a pretty splash of color in salads, in sandwiches and also for cake decorating. Make sure to rinse the flowers well before use making sure any bugs and other garden hitchhikers aren’t hiding within the petals. Then, make sure they are thoroughly dry before topping cupcakes, cakes or cookies.
