Do not confuse simplicity with blandness. Scandinavian homes are far from ordinary. This is just one bright and sunny example of Scandinavian color. While colder locale, like northern Scandinavian countries, tend to favor light colors to counteract the darker weather, they also infuse rooms with striking color as well. Not only are walls colored in this example, but simple and neat details and artifacts are as well.
