0Win a Trip to Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week with Masdar’s Blogging Contest

We’ve partnered again for Madar’s blogging contest in which you can win a trip to Abu Dhabi’s famous Sustainability Week. Masdar’s humongous Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW) — which includes the Zayed Future Energy Prize; the IRENA General Assembly; the World Future Energy Summit; the International Water Summit; EcoWaste; The Women in Sustainability, Environment & Renewable Energy (WiSER) Initiative; and “The Festival” — is just around the corner, and the mega clean energy company from Abu Dhabi has launched another blogging contest leading up to the big week. The winner of the contest will receive an all-expenses-covered trip to ADSW.
Masdar’s blogging contest is focused on how the private sector can cooperate with governments to address climate change in order to best help us transition to a low-carbon economy by 2030. Bouncing off of a successful COP21 agreement, it asks you to detail some of the key ways that private enterprise and government leaders (at the local, state, regional, and national level) can cut carbon emissions. Read more about the contest rules here on Clean Technica.
How can they partner to electrify transport? How can they partner to switch to clean electricity sources? How can they partner to get more people in transit and on bikes? How they partner to cut energy use? How can they partner to reduce emissions from livestock?
You can answer these questions (I know you can), and if you tickle the judges’ fancy, you win a trip to Abu Dhabi to cover Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week for Masdar (and CleanTechnica). I will also be there, so it would be great to discuss the various events, have help covering them, and have fun pondering the future of technology and society with another CleanTechnica reader.
By the way, if you don’t have your own blog where you want to write an entry article, you can send it to Masdar by email as an attachment, or we could probably publish it here onCleanTechnica. Drop me a note in the comments if you want to go the latter route.
You can find more info about the contest on our page about it (share with friends, too!) or on the Masdar contest page, where you can also read the other entry articles.
For more of a taste of what Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week is like and what kind of stuff you would be able to attend and cover there, scroll through our extensive Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week archives. And feel free to drop me any questions you have.
