Project Green Challenge

There is nothing more amazing than seeing young people get passionate about something, anything, these days. There are ways to encourage kids to be green but when an organization empowers and supports our future leaders in caring for the planet by challenging each other, you have to admire them with awe and respect.

Project Green Challenge

Project Green Challenge is a powerful and inspiring movement that empowers young people to take action and protect our planet.

Starting October 1st, high school and college students across the country can participate in a 30-day green lifestyle initiative to raise awareness about conscience living, informed consumption and the collective impact.

The challenge is guided by eco experts, industry leaders and the PGC Guide to Living Green, participants will discover how fun, easy and effective eco living can be.

The Challenge

Throughout October a daily green challenge will be outlined on ProjectGreenChallenge.com and in an email delivered to each participant who has signed up . Each challenge will be supported with resources, tips, facts and a green glossary.

Over the course of the 30-day Challenge, participants will share their responses to challenge tasks on the Project Green Challenge website utilizing Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.

Green Diploma

At then end of the month, contestants who complete the 30-day Challenge can apply for the Challenge Finals and ten finalists will be selected to participate in Green University, a two-day summit held in California this December. Students will be flown to San Francisco where they will learn from distinguished leaders in the environmental industry, present experiences from the 30-day Challenge, and work together to create unique platforms for social action.

Also, a panel of judges will name ONE finalist as the Project Green Challenge Champion. The winner will receive a one-of-a-kind prize package and the opportunity to work with Teens Turning Green and its partners in the coming year.
