0How To Make Low Alcohol Hand Sanitizer
With flu season on the horizon, you may find yourself stocking up on hand sanitizer. But did you know the high amount of drying alcohol in traditional sanitizers can lead to cracks and microscopic tears in your skin leaving you even more susceptible to infections? In addition, the content of isopropyl alcohol serves as a danger to children. Here is a simple recipe for making natural hand sanitizers for keeping hands clean, while nourishing.
1. Ingredients Needed for Hand Sanitizer
You will need Witch Hazel, grain alcohol (vodka is a good choice), distilled water, aloe vera gel, coconut oil, glycerine, lemon and tea tree essential oils and a spray bottle or multiple travel atomizers. You should already have some witch hazel from your natural first aid kit.
