Still using that old CRT monitor? Okay, you get 10 out of 10 for getting the most use out of old things, but you lose points for extra electricity use. The newer LCD monitors (and by the way, this applies to TVs too) use far less electricity. You can enjoy a princely 23 diagonal inches of monitor and still use less power than your old 15″ CRT. If you do take the plunge into flat-screen goodness and greener computing, be sure you recycle or donate your unwanted electronics.
