A new and very popular college major is Environmental Engineering, which prepares students for the job of helping preserve and clean up our environment. Many schools offer this program as part of a Civil Engineering discipline and students can find a wide variety of jobs available upon graduation.

Available jobs include site planning and observation for major landscape firms, climate change studies, and observation for a major consulting firm and hydrogeology work.
