4. Dress in Layers

One secret campers know is the power of dressing in layers. Make sure your bottom layers are comfortable and of a thinner material. Gradually add on until you reach a comfortable temperature but can still move about freely. A long-sleeve shirt under a t-shirt is a good start with an added flannel for additional warmth. You can then add a sweater if another layer is required, depending on how cold it is and how long your power may be out.
