Clothes for Those Living on the Streets

It’s sad and unthinkable that we have so many living on on our streets. In a world with so many riches, it’s disheartening that members of our society must sleep in the cold darkness of our city streets. Because of cutbacks, many shelters have began placing time limits for how long consumers can use their facilities. They have nowhere to go but the outdoors. For them, a heavy coat, warm blankets, towels and washcloths can make the difference between freezing and getting by. Socks, hats and gloves are all necessities that mean so much to homeless neighbors. Talk to your local shelters to see the best way to get donations to those most in need.
