Eco-Vacations: Southwest Airlines Wins Eco-Pioneer of the Year Award

Summer’s around the corner bringing family vacations and much-needed getaways. If you’re flying, are you choosing an environmentally friendly airline? Eco vacations are  becoming more common and while air travel does contribute to pollution, there are ways to decrease your carbon footprint by choosing a green airline. Southwest Airlines recently received the Eco-Pioneer of the Year Aviation Award for its green practices which it pursued long before other companies thought about Earth-friendly business practices.
