Is Perspiration Your Inspiration?
Feeling stuck in the yuck today? Maybe it’s time to let perspiration become your inspiration.
There are a variety of ways in which your body naturally detoxifies. ‘Sweating them out’ is probably the most common; it is your body’s way of naturally preventing the buildup of toxins that over time lead to poor health.
Most of us associate sweating with exercise. Toxins from pollution or poor quality foods typically get ‘stuck’ in the body’s fat cells. Regular exercise is a great way to break down fatty deposits and release toxins into the blood and the lymphatic system so that the body can naturally sweat them out through the skin.
So what can you do to sweat out the toxins that you inhale from walking through city smog each day?
• Go for a walk. Walking briskly for 30 minutes each day is a great way to work up a sweat and get some fresh air at the same time • Dance to the Beat. If you must stay indoors then crank up some tunes and get moving. You’re bound to be sweating it out soon. • Start scrubbing the walls. That’s right, you will be amazed at just how quickly housecleaning can work up a healthy sweat.
