Happy Earth Day 2009!
Earth Day is finally here! Today is the day to get out and celebrate our planet. And by that we mean hug some trees, plant some seeds, walk to school. Pick just one thing…it can be anything different to what you normally do, to reduce your carbon footprint today.
In case you have not looked at them already, here is a round up of our various Earth Day related posts:
1. The First Earth Day – Birth of the Modern Environmental Movement
3. Celebrate Earth Day 2009 with a Green Apple Festival Concert
4. Three Exciting Contests to Enter this Earth Day
Here’s a peek at the Earth Day concert at the the National Mall last Sunday. Thousands flocked to D.C. to listen to hear the bands play and to take part in various Earth Day activities.
Finally, if you have a great idea for greening your community then consider applying for a grant to help you get you on your way.
