GTR Green Blogger Series: Chris Baskind of Lighter Footstep

by Sean Daily in Green Resources, Podcasts, Simple Living

lighterfootstep

GreenTalk Radio host Sean Daily talks with Founder and Editor of LighterFootstep and MoreMinimal, Chris Baskind, about being an eco-publisher and blogger, going car-free, bicycles, and living cheap as the “new green.”

Chris spent many years in the radio industry as a Programmer and Operation Manager before co-founding Lighter Footstep with business partner Lisa Cagle in 2007. He’s still frequently on the radio — though now as a spokesperson on Environmental and Green Living issues. Chris was an early proponent of social media as a conduit for environmental education and networking, and runs Lighter Footstep’s busy Twitter account.
