Pono Home Launches Crowdfunding Campaign!

Recently we wrote about one of our favorite new companies, Pono Home. They’ve just launched a crowdfunding campaign, and we wanted to remind you about how awesome this company is… and let you know about the opportunity to be a part of the team!

pono homePono Home, based in Honolulu, Hawaii, offers homeowners and renters a chance to save energy, save money and clean their home of toxic and carcinogenic chemicals. A Pono Home visit helps you save energy by addressing ‘vampire’ power, finding the most efficient lightbulbs, cleaning appliances to help them run more efficiently and more. Faucet aerators and low-flow showerheads are installed and leaks are detected to help you save water. They also help you sort through the confusing labels on personal care products and let you know the best solutions to your needs. Finally, they can help you in the kitchen by recommending healthy, delicious solutions to processed and GMO foods.

Pono Home has partnered with local non-profits like Surfrider Foundation, SEEQS school and more to share in the sustainability love. For every donation of $80, $20 goes to the non-profit of your choice. It’s a great way to help your own home and your island community. For those of you living on Oahu, you can get a Pono Home gift card, sustainability goodies, and pre-purchase a home consultation with one of the trained technicians. For those of you not living in the islands? You can be one of the first franchisees of this great new concept. Pono Home is looking to rapidly expand in the next year, and with your help it can happen. If you see a need in your community to improve energy and water savings, this is your chance to make it happen.
