Get your Yoga on at Wanderlust Yoga Festival!
The editors here at Green Living Ideas are super stoked to be headed to the Oahu Wanderlust Festival February 28- March 3 2013. What’s Wanderlust, you might ask?
Wanderlust Festival is a global yoga festival, featuring world-renowned teachers, speakers, and music in various magical locations around the globe. This year Wanderlust is starting the festivals on the gorgeous Hawaiian Island of Oahu. The festival will be held at Turtle Bay resort on the famed North Shore, and will feature surfing, stand-up paddling, beach activities, and so much more.

The yoga line up brings some super famous yoga talent here to our island: Shiva Rea, Baron Baptiste, Kate Baldwin, Eoin Finn, Coco Zhang, and more. As a surfer girl, I am super excited to meet surfer/yogis Rochelle Ballard and Gerry Lopez, both big wave surfing heroes of mine that have balanced surfing with yoga and offer a great insight to both practices. The music line up is going to be super fun, including local and national musicians and DJs: Michael Franti, Kaki King, Jon Cruz, Paula Fuga, ALO, and more. There will also be meditation, body work, and nutritional counseling with Jessica Quinn of Be Nutritious. VWJ has generously been given full access to the festival, and will be sharing photos, insights, and interviews from the four day festival- so stay tuned for all the updates!
If you can’t hop the pond for the Oahu festival- don’t worry! Wanderlust Festival brings yoga to various locations across the globe! Other events are going to be held in Chile (Feb 15-17), Vermont (June 20-23), Colorado (July 4-7), California (July 18-21, and Whistler, Canada (August 1-4).
