Green Appliances Put Green in Your Pocket

Everyone knows that green appliances save money on energy. However, there is another way that green appliances can save you money. Many times, manufacturers and stores offer ENERGY STAR rebates in hopes that more customers will choose to go green with their new washers, refrigerators, or other appliances. In addition, the government sometimes encourages tax payers to buy ENERGY STAR appliances by offering tax credits. Check with your tax return preparer to see if you will qualify for a credit if you buy green appliances this year.
